Super Bowl LI is here, and we're ready for this year's famous Super Bowl commercials! Honda has announced that they'll be participating in the Big Game off the field with an ad for the all-new 2017 Honda CR-V. Honda's Assistant VP says, "The Super Bowl is the appropriate stage to introduce America to the bold and sophisticated new Honda CR-V." So far, Honda is keeping the creative a secret, but you don't have to wait until the Super Bowl to discover the 2017 Honda CR-V.

Honda's Super Bowl commercial featured the Honda Ridgeline truck, specifically, its truck bed audio speaker system. It incorporated a herd of sheep singing along to Queen's "Somebody to Love."

Honda ran an ad in 2014 too, where action star Bruce Willis promoted Honda as a leading manufactuer of "top safety rated cars in America." As part of the #hugfest, Bruce abandoned his usual hardcore personage for a docile, lovable family man who encouraged everyone watching to hug their loved ones.

In 2012, Honda incorporated Matthew Broderick (aka Ferris Beuller) to help them boost their Honda CR-V. In a spoof on the original Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Matthew Broderick calls in sick and spends his day riding around town in a CR-V accompanied by a giant panda.

2017 Super Bowl is expected to have more than 100 million viewers. Honda has yet to announce the details of the commercial. The 2017 Honda CR-V officially went on sale on December 21 and is the fifth-generation of CR-V. Over its 20-year production run, the CR-V has had nearly 4 million sales, making it the best-selling utility model during its span.
